Ingredients English Walnut Pie
- Deep dish pie crust (1 of 9 inches)
- Butter (120g)
- Chopped walnuts (250g)
- Light corn syrup (220g)
- Vanilla extract (2 teaspoons)
- White sugar (220g)
- Salt (120g)
- Eggs (3)
Procedure English Walnut Pie
- Set out a large bowl, add the eggs, and then beat them. Do this while you preheat the oven to 400°C.
- Add the corn syrup, vanilla, salt, and sugar, then mix well.
- Add the butter and mix well with the egg mixture using a whisker.
- Add the nuts and stir before pouring the mixture into the pie shell.
- Put in the oven to bake till an inserted skewer comes out clean. The baking should take about 10 minutes.
- Bring down the heat to 150°C, then keep baking for about 35-45 minutes.
