Fruit and Nut Bars. It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas season is just around the corner, and it’s time to start preparing.This year, we’ve prepared a festive Fruit & Nut Snack recipe for you to enjoy. These bars are perfect for parties and gatherings. Get ready to make yours!
Ingredients Fruit and Nut Bars
- Old-fashioned rolled oats, 1 cup
- Oat flour, 1 cup
- ½ cup of dates or prunes
- 0.5 cup raisins
- Apricots, in ½ cup, dry
- 1 cup of chopped, fine-walnuts
- 2 tablespoons cacao nibs
- Water, ⅓ cup
Instructions Fruit and Nut Bars
- Set your oven’s temperature to 325 degrees Fahrenheit. Use parchment paper to line an 8 × 8-inch baking dish.
- Put the prunes, raisins, and apricots in a food processor or mini-chopper and pulse until finely chopped.
- A dough ball will form after you combine the flour, oats, chopped fruit mixture, almonds, cacao nibs, and 2/3 cup water in a large bowl.
- In the prepared pan, press the dough firmly and uniformly. Before putting it in the oven, cut it into squares using a sharp knife.
- Don’t over bake or the bars will turn out dry and tough. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until thoroughly cooked but still soft.
- In the refrigerator, leftover bars should be kept in an airtight container. They should last for a week or two.
