During the winter, this delicacy has a unique flavor. One of the best desserts is made with delicious raisins, soft apples, toasty spices, a fluffy texture, and a floral-smelling sauce.

Ingredients Apple-Nut Strudel

  • Ten tablespoons of softened butter 
  • A quarter cup of almonds that have been ground
  • A quarter cup of finely ground walnuts
  • Two pounds of Apple varieties.
  • One-third cup of golden raisins 
  • Six tablespoons of baking sugar. 
  • One lemon’s rinds
  • Two teaspoons of powdered cinnamon; keep a little more for light dusting.
  • Two spoonfuls of corn flour
  • Sixteen sheets of puff pastry

Apple-Nut Strudel can be made in a great many ways. Here are the dessert’s ingredients:

How to Make Apple-Nut Strudel

Step 1: Preheat the oven to 232 degrees Celsius. Spread unsalted butter on a sizable baking pan and keep it aside. Almonds and walnuts should be mixed in a separate medium-sized bowl.

Step 2: In a mixing bowl, mix the apples, raisins, two tablespoons of baking sugar, the lemon rinds, and the powdered cinnamon.

Step 3: In a baking dish, bring one-third cup of water and corn flour to a gentle simmer while frequently whisking until the mixture is creamy and sleek. Add the last four tablespoons of baking sugar and stir until fully melted. Put on top of the apples. To combine, mix everything.

Step 4: Put a sheet of puff pastry on a smooth surface and size it into a cube shape. Dust it with butter. Put an extra sheet on top of the first one. Dust it with butter. Do this about four times.

Step 5: Spread half of the apple mixture on a sheet of puff pastry and spread it over the top. Dust it with butter and roll it up like a cigarette almost to the end. When you’re done, put the strand gently in the pan you’ve already set up.

Step 6: Dust the surface with butter. At the upper edge of the wrap, cut six diagonal cuts one inch long. Make the slits a little bigger with your fingers. Make the remaining puff pastry and pack.

Step 7: Preheat the oven slightly above 177°C and bake for ten minutes. Bring the heat down to 175°C. Keep baking for another thirty-five minutes, or until the liquids are fizzing and the apples are mushy when sliced open with a knife.
