Maple Walnut Pie. Walnuts are known as a great source of protein and healthy fats. They are used in various desserts, including cakes, cookies, and pies. This maple walnut pie is a delicious dessert that features walnuts as one of the key ingredients.
Ingredients Maple Walnut Pie
- 1 9-inch pie crust
- Pure maple syrup (240g)
- Light corn syrup (180g)
- 3 large eggs
- Melted unsalted butter (60g)
- Vanilla extract (5.69g)
- Salt (1.42g)
- Coarsely chopped walnuts (480g)
Instructions Maple Walnut Pie
Allow your oven to preheat to 350°F (175°C). Set out your 9-inch pie dish, then place the pie crust inside. Then crimp the edges as you wish. Put the salt, vanilla extract, melted butter, eggs, corn syrup, and maple syrup into a large mixing bowl before whisking properly. Stir in the chopped walnuts and combine the pie crust with the mixture.
Leave to bake till the filling is set, and the crust is golden brown. Usually, that takes about 45-50 minutes to bake fully. Place the pie on the wire rack to cool off for about 30 minutes, then serve.
Serve and enjoy your delicious Maple Walnut Pie. Add whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream for added indulgence, if you wish.
