Keto Seed Crackers. If you love the taste of crunchy buttery crackers but are looking for a healthier option, these keto seed crackers are the perfect snack! They’re quick, easy to make, and packed with protein and fiber. Besides, they’re gluten-free and dairy-free.
Ingredients Keto Seed Crackers
- ¼ cup (105g) of sunflower seeds
- ½ cup (65g) of pumpkin seeds
- ½ cup of (72g) sesame seeds
- 3 tablespoons (24g) of chia seeds
- 1 tbsp (or 2 tablespoons) of psyllium husk powder
- ¼ cup (180ml) of water
- A large pinch of salt to taste
Preparations Keto Seed Crackers
- Set the oven’s temperature to 150°C/300 F.
- In a bowl, mix all the ingredients. Mix thoroughly and set aside for 20 minutes to allow the mixture to thicken.
- Put a sheet of parchment paper on top of your cracker “dough” after transferring it there.
- Then, with a rolling pin or our hands, spread out into a thin layer.
- Onto a baking sheet, place the parchment. (You can bake leftovers in a second tray if you have some left).
- The top parchment should now be removed and using a pizza cutter or knife, cut it into squares. Don’t skip this step!
- Bake the keto crackers for approximately an hour or until they are crisp and gently browned. (The time in the oven depends on how thick or thin you roll out the dough. It could take an extra 10 to 15 minutes for thicker crackers).
- Before dividing the crackers and storing them, allow them to cool completely.
