Date bars are a healthy dessert that contains protein, fiber, and antioxidants. Fun and easy to make! Enjoy making this date bars recipe!

Method Date Bars

  • Use medium heat to roast the chopped nuts lightly for about 3-4 minutes. 
  • Put a tablespoon of butter or coconut oil and the grounded dates inside the pan next. 
  • Combine the nuts and dates using medium-high heat to stir for about 4-5 minutes.
  • Pour the mixture into a rectangular/square pan with foil and parchment lining. 
  • Afterward, use a spoon or spatula to press the mixture while it covers the entire pan. Use some of the nuts to garnish if you wish.
  • Put the covered pan in the refrigerator and leave it there for at least 2 hours. You can freeze the bars if you wish to speed up the process. The freezing could take about 30 minutes. 
  • Cut the bars and store the remaining in a refrigerator or at room temperature. However, you must always leave the bars covered as you store them.
