Cashew Butter Cups. Cashew nuts are commonly used to make tasty dishes. They are native to Brazil but are now widely cultivated in many tropical regions worldwide. Our Cashew nuts are a great choice for making this dessert.
Cashew Butter Cups Ingredients
- Cashew butter (240g)
- Coconut oil (120g)
- Maple syrup (68g)
- Sea salt (1.42g)
- Vanilla extract (5.69g)
- Dark chocolate chips (120g)
Cashew Butter Cups Instructions
Melt the cashew butter and coconut oil in a small saucepan over low heat. Add the maple syrup, sea salt, and vanilla extract to the melted mixture, and stir until well combined. Use silicon liners or paper to line a muffin tin.
Pour the cashew butter mixture into the muffin cups, filling each about 3/4 of the way full. Melt the dark chocolate chips in a separate bowl in the microwave or stovetop using a double boiler. Spoon a small amount of melted chocolate over the top of each cashew butter cup.
Leave the muffin tin to turn firm in the freezer, which usually takes at least 30 minutes. Ensure you do not remove until the cashew butter cups are firm and the chocolate has hardened.
Remove the cashew butter cups from the muffin tin and store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator or freezer. Serve and enjoy your delicious Cashew Butter Cups!
