Ingredients Apple Raisin Breakfast Bars
- Raisins or sultanas (60g)
- Apple (1) remove the core and chop it into small chunks
- Honey or maple syrup (45ml)
- Milk (150ml)
- Smooth apple sauce (200g)
- Ground nutmeg (¼ tsp)
- Ground ginger (¼ tsp)
- Ground cloves (¼ tsp)
- Ground cinnamon (1 tsp)
- Baking powder (1 tsp)
- Oats (260g)
To Serve
- Fresh blueberries
- Yogurt
Method Apple Raisin Breakfast Bars
Heat the oven, and line a rectangular baking tin using parchment paper. Put the nutmeg, ginger, cloves, cinnamon, baking powder, and oats into a large bowl and combine. Then, put the honey or maple syrup, milk, and apple sauce and mix.
Next, put 2/4 of the raisins and apple chunks and evenly fold them into the mixture. Pour out the whole of the mixture into the baking tin and flatten the corners. Put the leftover raisins and apple chunks into the mix and slightly push them in. Then place the tin in the oven for about 25 minutes. Afterward, slice the piece you want and serve it with blueberries and yogurt.
