Ingredients Almond Date Balls Recipe

  • ½  cup of pitted dates, 75 g
  • Almonds, 75 g (½ cup)
  • 1 tablespoon of coconut flakes

Directions Almond Date Balls Recipe

  1. Place the dates in a small bowl and cover them with warm water to soak for 15 minutes or until they are soft. Get rid of the pits and put them aside.
  2. On the stove, in a skillet, over medium heat, toast the almonds. To avoid burning them, stir them in or swirl the pan every 20 to 30 seconds.
  3. Remove the almonds from the stove once they emit a potent aroma.
  4. Before grinding them, spread them on the baking sheet and let them cool.
  5. After the almonds have cooled, grind them in the food processor.
  6. Include the pitted dates and process the mixture until it resembles a paste. Add 1 teaspoon of water if the mixture is too dry.
  7. Re-pulse, and if necessary, add another teaspoon or more water. (Be sure to thoroughly mix before adding water to avoid too much water.)
  8. Make 10 balls out of the dough by dividing it into that number (almost 15 grams). After that, roll the balls in the coconut shred.
