Get Whimsical with Penguins and Unicorns
So you’re hosting a black-tie affair and aren’t sure how to keep
things fun but classy? Have you considered throwing a few animal-themed treats into the game? We know, there’s nothing “grown-up” about gummy bears and fish tails. But, there is definitely a time and place for a few animal accents!
If you are hosting a true black-tie event and want to keep the theme monochrome, our penguin gummy candies are the way to go! These little penguins are bursting with peach flavor and are a great addition to alcoholic beverages. Take your favorite moscato, add some edible black or white glitter, and top with a few penguins on a skewer.

For a fun twist on traditional punch, mix your favorite green or blue punch recipe. Then, slice limes to create lily pads. Carefully float them on top of the punch, and then top them with our green gummy frogs. You have your festive summer beverage settled, so what’s next? It’s hot out, so we suggest refreshing snacks over heavy cake ones. We love the idea of a layered jello dessert! Start by mixing blue jello and refrigerator it in the bottom of a mold. Only fill up a third of it! Once it is set, carefully pour a layer of light blue or clear jello to the ⅔ mark.

served in shallow glasses. Right before serving, top the drink with a bunch of white cotton candy to act as an iceberg. The possibilities are truly endless!
If your theme caters to those who like warmer locations, you can create a statement dessert with just a few wholesome ingredients. To begin, blend together cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and a few drops of blue food coloring. This will serve as your ocean. On a large dish or sheet pan, spread crumbled graham crackers on roughly a fourth of the sheet to act as the shore. Then, cover the remaining open space with the cream cheese blend. Top with our cream-flavored gummy turtles and your masterpiece is complete!

If you are a fan of New England, you’ve probably been to your share of coast-side soirees. After all, there is very little better than fresh, high-quality seafood! As you’re planning your next backyard party or company event, why not add some deliciously sweet fish and lobsters into the mix? Not only will it keep your desserts on theme, but it will add a memorable touch that your guests will be talking about for months to come.
